Here Is The Eagles ‘The Long Goodbye Final Tour’ Setlist

The Eagles have toured for more than 50 years. The “Hotel California” band is currently on The Long Goodbye Final Tour to “give all our fans a chance to see us on this final round,” they explained in a statement on their website. Hopefully, audiences will have fun but not get too rowdy, like they did in June.

The setlist is important considering this is their last tour; they’ve got to fit in all the hits, whether that’s “Take It Easy” or “One of These Nights,” as well as deep-cuts that die-hards have always wanted to hear.

Check out their setlist from September 11 at Boston’s at TD Garden, according to setlist.fm.

1. “Seven Bridges Road” (Steve Young cover)
2. “Take It Easy”
3. “One of These Nights”
4. “New Kid in Town”
5. “Take It to the Limit”
6. “Best of My Love”
7. “Witchy Woman”
8. “Peaceful Easy Feeling” (Jack Tempchin cover)

Selena Gomez Is Really Tired Of People Meme-ifying Her And Vows To Never Do Anything Meme-Worthy Again

Leave Selena Gomez alone. She dropped “Single Soon” in August — no, it is not about The Weeknd — and seems to be looking forward to finally releasing her next album, confirming “there’s not one sad song” on the record. She just wants to have fun, but everybody else keeps ruining it for her.

Gomez attended the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards on Tuesday night, September 12, where she accepted Best Afrobeats alongside Rema for their ubiquitous “Calm Down” collaboration. While sitting next to Rema in the crowd, Gomez scrunched up her face in apparent disapproval when Chris Brown was announced as a nominee for Best R&B. Cameras caught her reaction, and people on the internet did the rest.

“I will never be a meme again,” Gomez wrote on her since-expired Instagram Story. “I’d rather sit still than be dragged for being myself. Much love.”

This is the second time this month that Gomez has watched a candid reaction of hers become fodder for strangers. For as famous as she is, as long as she’s been famous, and as many times as people have taken something about her and ran with it, I imagine it never stops being an uncomfortable experience, to say the least.

On September 3, Gomez was one one of several celebrities present at BMO Stadium for Lionel Messi’s first-ever Major League Soccer game in Los Angeles since signing with Inter Miami in July. Messi had his shot saved — the rarest of sights — and Gomez’s mouth dropped to the floor.

Gomez played along and posted a screengrab of herself to her Instagram Story from the viral video, writing, “Mood.”

Beyoncé’s Producer Sal Dali Gifts Speed Walton With A ‘Beautiful Nightmare’

Last month, Cincinnati, Ohio hip-hop artist Speed Walton teamed up with Grammy-winning producer Sal Dali (also a Cincinnati native) on his new album Pearls. The producer, who contributed to the songs “Alien Superstar” and “Summer Renaissance” from Beyoncé’s latest album, shows off his range on the project, and today, Walton shares the video for another of Dali’s productions which shares a title with another Beyoncé song, “Beautiful Nightmare.”

In a press release for the song, Walton calls it his “inspired version of Common’s I Used To Love HER. But the love/passion is for music. The business aspect of it is typically unfair toward the artist, so indeed the love affair is a beautiful nightmare.” The song employs a sample of The Weeknd‘s House Of Balloons cut “The Party & The After Party,” creating a moody vibe that Speedy uses to unfold his paranoid story of falling in love with a business that doesn’t love him back.

For those unfamiliar with Walton, the ‘Nati native has been putting out albums both independently and under Capitol Records since 2009. Pearls, which was released on August 4, bears 13 tracks including “Beautiful Nightmare,” and features appearances from T.Nava and August Rose. You can watch the “Beautiful Nightmare” video above.

What To Watch: Our Picks For The TV Shows And Movies We Think You Should Stream This Week

Each week our staff of film and TV experts surveys the entertainment landscape to select the ten best new/newish shows available for you to stream at home. We put a lot of thought into our selections, and our debates on what to include and what not to include can sometimes get a little heated and feelings may get hurt, but so be it, this is an important service for you, our readers. With that said, here are our selections for this week.

20. Adventure Time: Fiona and Cake (Max)

ADVENTURE
MAX

Fionna and Cake were introduced in a season three episode of the wonderful animated series Adventure Time, and became instant fan favorites. Now, the pair have their own spinoff show, Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake, which finds them on a multiverse-hopping journey towards self-discovery. It looks just as funny, existential, and clever as the original, just with a cat (Cake) instead of a dog (Jake). Whether that’s an improvement is up to you.

Watch it on Max

19. The Changeling (Apple TV Plus)

CHANGELING
APPLE

LaKeith Stanfield heads into the horror realm in this adaptation of Victor LaValle’s acclaimed novel. The show promises to be a grown-up fairytale begins in a New York City library and heads into a version of the Big Apple that usually remains closed from human eyes. It’s also a parenthood fable, and yes, it truly feels like the scariest horror stories often revolve around kids, whether they happen to be good or evil. Given Stanfield’s ability to showcase the surreal in various other projects, one can bet that this quality adds to the spooks in this series.

18. Solar Opposites (Hulu)

hulu solar
hulu

Solar Opposites is, in a sense, two shows for the price of one. What a deal! One show is the alien adventures of Korvo (now voiced by Dan Stevens), Terry, Jesse, Yumyulack, and the Pupa, the cutest lil’ guy on television. The other show takes place in The Wall, where humans have been shrunk down and held hostage inside a terrarium. Both are very funny, very weird, and very good. Solar Opposites doesn’t get as much attention as Rick and Morty, but it should.

17. Winning Time (Max)

WT
HBO

The continuing saga of the Showtime-era of the NBA and the LA Lakers, well, continues, injecting a lot more Larry Bird into the mix while also seeing the impact of fame and failure on the principal characters of the era, inspiring strong performances from Jason Segel, Adrien Brody, Solomon Hughes, and Quincy Isaiah. Off-the-court and out of the trainer’s room, the complex family dynamic between the members of Buss family proves volatile, giving us Succession vibes. Damn, Succession in the mid-80s, what a dream. For now, though, Winning Time is a worthy substitute and more than worth your time.

16. Star Wars: Ahsoka (Disney Plus)

STAR
DISNEY

Rosario Dawson is back as Ahsoka in this spinoff of The Mandalorian, with all the face paint and prosthetics to go along with it. The biggest question here, though, is whether everyone’s favorite little green guy will show up at some point to steal a few scenes and hearts. Fingers crossed.

Watch it on Disney Plus

15. Predators (Netflix)

PREDATORS
NETFLIX

It’s so easy to feel safe and secure with our place in the food chain (at least until AI turns our microwaves against us), but the reality is we wouldn’t fare very well out in the wilderness, shuffling around with true predators who use teeth, claws, brutal strength, and their understanding of the elements to wage daily wars on their rivals and competing species. The Tom Hardy-narrated Netflix docuseries, Predators, amplifies that truth with humbling clarity, spanning the globe to show stunning and startling footage of predators in their habitat and at their most territorial and fierce. It’s beautiful, it’s terrifying, it’s nature.

14. The Gold (Paramount Plus)

GOLD
PARAMOUNT

Two things you need to know here. One, this is a British television series starring Hugh Bonneville, which is a great start. Two, you really can’t do better than this from an official description standpoint: “Inspired by the Brink’s Mat robbery of 1983 where a gang unexpectedly stole £26m in gold bullion, kicking off decades of investigation, corruption, arrests and murder as the police tried to identify the criminals and recover the gold.” Yes, this will do nicely.

13. Invasion (Apple TV Plus)

invasion
APPLE

This intense story, set over several continents, brings us crop circles galore and civilization’s collapse while humanity struggles to pull it together during (as the title suggests) an alien invasion. Naturally, there is a sheriff who gets pulled back from the verge of retirement as soldiers, mission controllers, and civilians everywhere lend their perspectives in this series from Simon Kinberg (several X-Men movies) and David Weil (Citadel, Hunters). The show is back for a second season while the world still struggles to figure what, exactly, is happening in real-time.

12. Welcome to Wrexham (Hulu)

wrex
FX

FX’s sweet, celebrity-glazed sports docuseries about the historic soccer (sorry football) club that could is back and making a case for why it could be the comfort-binge of the Fall. All of the ingredients that made its first installment so damn charming are still there: a hopeful Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are still fretting over their investment in a slightly-less-doomed Wrexham FC, the club’s manager is still tossing out F-bombs a mile a minute, the humble, dedicated township are cautiously optimistic about their side’s brightening future, and a player named Paul Mullin is scoring more goals than once believed humanly possible. But when you add in royal visits and heartbreaking rejections, million-pound renovations, and unbelievable overtime comebacks it raises the stakes yet again, making us and the fans believe that anything — even a coveted promotion in the English League — is possible. Ted Lasso, eat your heart out.

11. Billions (Paramount Plus)

billions
paramount plus

Whaddya know, Damian Lewis’ Bobby Axelrod is somehow back for one last *cough* job. Whether that job involves leaning deep into betrayal remains unknown for the moment, but expect alliances to fall and old wounds to fester. Enemies and friends find their lines blurred, and man, do enough people give Maggie Siff credit for being one of the most magnetic presences within any ensemble cast? I think not, but sure, Corey Still and Paul Giamatti are cool, too. Once this show takes the final lap, Showtime will somehow launch four spinoffs, and Maggie should appear in all of them.

10. Heartstopper (Netflix)

HEART
NETFLIX

Heartstopper is really just a lovely little show. The first season introduced us all to Charlie and Nick, two teenage boys who became friends and then discovered that friendship might actually be… something… more than friendship. Season two takes things even further. It’s funny and sweet and charming and gay as all hell, which is… yeah, really just lovely.

9. Archer (Hulu)

ARCHER
FX

The world has been trying to leave Sterling Archer behind for years and years with hilarious results as the spy and his associates have navigated land, sea, and air (and space), often stumbling into calamity while chasing adventure. But now, in its 14th season, the series, with all its ambition and wit, has reached its climax (yes, we are still doing phrasing) and we are here for it, specifically, the final bows of one of the greatest voice casts ever assembled. How will it all end? We can’t wait to find out, but regardless, Archer’s place as one of the best comedies of this century is assured.

8. Harley Quinn (Max)

harley quinn
max

Even though there’s been a lot of upheaval at HBO Max/Max and even more so for films and TV shows starring DC characters, at least one supervillainess is safe. Miss Harley (who does not need the Joker for success) was almost pointedly renewed as a clattering of show cancellations and removals swirled. Heck, Kaley Cuoco’s voice even gave us the only Valentine’s Day special worth watching this year. Soon, we might find out whether Bane is still making love to a skyscraper as Harley attempts to get in good with the Bat Family. Quite a contrast there.

Watch it on Max

7. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon (AMC Plus)

Daryl Dixon The Walking Dead Spinoff
Emmanuel Guimier/AMC

The only “solo” spinoff of AMC’s post-apocalyptic world is upon us. Daryl is most entertaining character to send to France, and he’s also the least religious of the bunch, which makes it awfully funny to see him hanging with a bunch of nuns after waking up in France like “WTF?” Most of all, though, Daryl earns his “Big Ass Kicker” nickname and we also get a lovely character study of the most loyal and industrious survivor of Rick’s old bunch. The action also delivers, so get ready for crossbows and total chaos at Parisian landmarks. Pssst, we also chose the most essential to watch before this spinoff.

6. Love at First Sight (Netflix)

LOVW
NETFLIX

The official description of this movie reads as follows: “Two strangers connect on a flight to London, only to be separated by a twist of fate. A reunion seems improbable — but love has a way of defying the odds.” Is this the most original story ever committed to film? Well, no. Should this movie have been titled Love at First Flight? Probably. But could you do a love worst than a sweet little meet-cute starring Haley Lu Richardson from The White Lotus? Definitely. Lots to consider here.

5. You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah (Netflix)

Adam Sandler You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah
Netflix

A coming-of-age comedy from the Sandman (Adam Sandler) and company, You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah glimpses that time in life when everything is the most important thing that could ever happen with dire social consequences for every micro-embarrassment and misstep. A bat mitzvah (the religious right of passage for Jewish girls) absent Dua Lipa and a mojito bar? World ending. Your best friend moving in on your crush? Even worse. Sandler is in a clear supporting dad role (with Idina Menzel co-starring as his wife) while the kids take center stage, but this one feels like it can go on the shelf next to some of the more heartful films he’s produced.

Watch it on Netflix

4. One Piece (Netflix)

PIECE
NETFLIX

What we have here is a live-action adaptation of a legendary Japanese manga series about a young pirate and his friends out on the open seas in search of some treasure. It’s been burning up the Netflix charts since its release, and it’s been touted as a feel-good celebration of the innocence of childhood adventure, which, all things considered, does not sound like the worst way to spend a weekend binge. Get in there now before the second season drops.

Watch it on Netflix

3. The Other Black Girl (Hulu)

OTHER
HULU

Seriously, watch this trailer. This is not a fluffy little comedy. Rashida Jones executive produces this adaptation of Zakiya Dalila Harris’ NYT best-selling novel about an editorial assistant is who is overjoyed to no longer be the “only Black girl” at her work place. However, the novelty of newcomer Hazel quickly fades when it becomes apparent that sinister vibes are going down. Spooooky.

Watch it on Hulu

2. The Morning Show (Apple TV Plus)

MORNING
APPLE

Is The Morning Show the best drama on TV in a world absent Better Call Saul and Succession? It might be in the running, but it’s definitely the dramaest drama on TV, leaning on its star power to cut through moments that might be eye-roll-inducing if you weren’t so captivated by the screen presence of Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Billy Crudup, and Jon Hamm, who joins this season as a handsome version of Elon Musk. Backstabbing, front-stabbing, walk and talks, politics, high tension, and ripped-from-the-headlines storylines all come together, yet again, with our news and media power players moving more fully toward the game of mergers, acquisitions, and boardroom battles where the real prizes can be found.

Watch it on Apple TV Plus

1. Reservation Dogs (Hulu)

RD
FX

The thing about Reservation Dogs is that it is a good show. It has been for a few seasons now. And it still is in its third and final season, which is airing right now. Funny and heartfelt and everything you could possibly want out of a television show about some teens figuring stuff out. There’s a lot of weird stuff going on out there in the world. Some of it is kind of scary. Maybe you should chill out and watch Reservation Dogs. You could absolutely do much, much worse.

Who Is On Drake And SZA’s Song Cover?

Halle Berry did not care about losing her blue verification check on Twitter, which has since rebranded to X. And why would she? She’s Halle Berry. If, for whatever reason, she needed reminding of her verified icon status, Drake and SZA were there for her on Wednesday night, September 13.

Drake posted a photo of Berry getting slimed at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards to his Instagram alongside a caption of a wide-eyed emoji and lime green heart emoji. SZA was tagged in the photo, and she posted the same photo on her Instagram grid.

It’s believed that this means SZA is the featured artist on Drake’s next single from his upcoming For All The Dogs album, which is due out on September 22. A title nor release date has been officially confirmed by either artist, but it’s rumored that it will drop on Friday, September 15.

Drake set the stage for this while on stage for his ongoing It’s All A Blur Tour in Austin, Texas on Monday, September 11. As captured by a fan-taken video, he said, “I’m even gonna say something tonight in Austin, Texas I haven’t said yet. I know y’all are excited to hear the album. I know it’s like two weeks out. I’m gonna drop a song for y’all this week.”

Veeze Celebrates His Warner Records Partnership And Navy Wavy Label Launch With A Video For ‘Safe 2’

Detroit rapper Veeze has been on the come-up for some time, but this year saw him reach some truly impressive heights, garnering praise from a number of publications calling his new album Ganger one of the year’s best. Today, the viral underground sensation took his biggest step into the mainstream, announcing a new partnership with Warner Records for his own new label, Navy Wavy. Veeze celebrated the new partnership with the release of his video for “Safe 2.”

Signing Veeze has been just one of the higher-profile, left-field signings Warner has announced recently. In 2020, the label added indie rapper Freddie Gibbs to its roster, where he released the well-received Soul Sold Separately in 2022. Earlier this year, Gibbs said that he’s actually working on four follow-ups — something that might not have been possible back when he was self-funding.

Meanwhile, in 2019, Warner added Earl Sweatshirt, resulting in two well-received projects, the Feet Of Clay EP and his 2022 album Sick!, which expanded his sonic profile and garnered a new generation of fans. We’ve seen what Veeze can do on his own, so we’re definitely looking forward to what he does with some major-label backing.

Check out the “Safe 2” video above.

Veeze is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

The ‘Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom’ Trailer Goes For An Aquadaddy Joke Before Heading To Atlantis

The DC Extended Universe’s eventual metamorphosis into the James Gunn-led DCU could very well surprise everyone, although the “placeholder” films have not exactly set the box office on fire. Even The Rock’s flexing charisma didn’t help Black Adam (which was originally a passion project of his, many years ago) become a runaway hit.

Can Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom overcome the inertia? Only time will tell. The first film grossed over $1.1 billion at the global box office, and although domestically, it didn’t fare as well as several other DC movies, Aquaman became the top global DC release of all time. In August 2019, the Internet also kind-of lost it when Momoa faux-threatened not to shoot the sequel due to protesting construction on Hawaiian’s sacred Mauna Kea mountain.

Four years later, DC films are sitting in a different place. An Aquadaddy joke at the beginning of the sequel’s first trailer tackles the imposing task with humor.

Aquaman Aquadaddy
WBD

From there, Arthur Curry finds that Black Manta’s (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) hatred towards him has grown, and Aquaman must save Atlantis from doom. This means an unlikely team up with Orm (Patrick Wilson and his abs) and diving into the deep. Nicole Kidman returns as Atlanna, and we shall see Dolph Lundgren back as as King Nereus and Randall Park as Dr. Stephen Shin. One tiny peek at Amber Heard’s Queen Mera later, here’s the synopsis:

Having failed to defeat Aquaman the first time, Black Manta, still driven by the need to avenge his father’s death, will stop at nothing to take Aquaman down once and for all. This time Black Manta is more formidable than ever before, wielding the power of the mythic Black Trident, which unleashes an ancient and malevolent force. To defeat him, Aquaman will turn to his imprisoned brother Orm, the former King of Atlantis, to forge an unlikely alliance. Together, they must set aside their differences in order to protect their kingdom and save Aquaman’s family, and the world, from irreversible destruction.

Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom washes into theaters on December 20.

The Rolling Stones Shared The Tracklist For ‘Hackney Diamonds,’ Their First Album Of New Songs Since 2005

Earlier this month, The Rolling Stones returned with the announcement of their 26th studio album Hackney Diamonds. They unveiled the invigorating lead single “Angry” with a music video featuring the beloved Euphoria princess Sydney Sweeney.

Hackney Diamonds is the rock and roll band’s first album of new songs since 2005’s A Bigger Bang. “Angry” is the opening track, the first of 12 songs.

In an interview with The New York Times, Mick Jagger discussed the recording process for the LP. “We do like four or five takes. ‘OK,’ and we move on,” he said. “So no one had time to really think, ‘Well, was this a good song? Should we be doing this song?’ Because I get introspective, you know. Is this song as good as the other one? Is this song like another one I’ve done? You can figure that out later. Let’s keep moving.”

Ian Sweet’s Spiteful ‘Emergency Contact’ Re-Establishes Her Independence After A Break-Up

Ian Sweet, the music project of indie rocker Jilian Medford, was ready to make out with someone in her August single, “Your Spit.” But she has her guard up in “Emergency Contact,” her soft, wistful single released on Thursday, September 14, ahead of her Sucker album on November 3.

In the accompanying Brittany Reeber-directed video, Medford is alone and slowly slumping from a toppled chair to the floor as she sings, “I stopped writing you down / As my emergency contact / I bet you’re glad that you don’t have / To come runnin’ / Every time I fall back.”

Medford admits “it gets so dark sometimes,” but she still avoids reaching out to whom she’s lost because she’s “not ready to see what I’m missin’.” Roughly 90 seconds into the five-minute video, the director yells cut and asks Medford to “do it again but just, like, much better” — illustrating her feelings of inadequacy. Medford tries again, but the director still isn’t satisfied, and now, she’s crying as her makeup is reapplied.

Everyone on set is giving Medford the side-eye. But by the end, she stares directly into the camera with confidence, strumming her guitar and singing, “I don’t mind / I don’t wanna get it right / This time.” And that earns her overwhelming approval.

“‘Emergency Contact’ is biting and sarcastic at its core,” Medford said in a statement. “It’s a protection song to myself mostly. Trying to convince myself that I didn’t really want what I had lost in the first place as a way of coping with the outcome. The video we made for it is one of my favorite Ian Sweet videos ever (especially since it ties in with the ‘Your Spit’ video as well).”

She continued, “I wanted to represent the humor that often goes hand-in-hand with deep sadness. In the video, Martin [Herlihy] (who plays the director) keeps quickly snapping me out of those deep dark moments and pushing my buttons to try to get a rise out of me so in turn I’ll put on the best performance possible.”

Megan Thee Stallion Is Joining The ‘Big Mouth’ Cast As A Bootylicious Hormone Monster

Netflix’s raunchy animated comedy Big Mouth has seen its fair share of guest stars and rap references. The latest addition to its cast might be one of its most perfect, though, as Megan Thee Stallion has been announced to guest star as a bootylicious Hormone Monster. As one-half of the X-rated hit single “WAP,” Meg will have plenty to contribute to the show’s unique blend of educational info and gross-out humor. You can check out the season 7 announcement above.

Megan first began building her onscreen resume with a guest appearance on Marvel’s She-Hulk series last year, a process she called “a blast.” Meanwhile, during her hosting gig on SNL in October, she showed off some impressive comedy chops, joking around in the “Hot Girl Hospital” sketch ahead of performing “NDA” and “Plan B.”

She’ll be pairing her musical and acting skills again in the upcoming A24 comedy Dicks: The Musical, where she’ll be girlbossing the titular twins. She’s also rumored to be negotiating a role in a new Safdie brothers film starring Adam Sandler, which could either be hilarious, or considering Megan’s love of horror, every bit as nerve-racking as Uncut Gems. Her first-look deal with Netflix could also bear fruit soon, as well. It’s looking like Stallion season is nearly upon us… we can’t wait.
