For months, HBO had been advertising the latest (and now completed) seasons of Succession and Barry as the final seasons, while Amazon Prime Video did the same with The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. But Apple TV+, for whatever reason (denial), has not confirmed that Ted Lasso, or at least the current version of Ted Lasso with Jason Sudeikis as the star, is ending with the season three finale. The speculation is now over, kind of, and it came in the form of a tweet from the Twitter account “run” by the AFC Richmond coach.

“A few years ago I hopped on a plane with Coach Beard headin’ to a little town in London. Tonight we play our final match. It’s like what I say about the films of David Lynch. I can’t tell you what’s happenin’, but I sure as heck don’t want it to end,” he tweeted. Maybe in 20 years, Ted Lasso will be resurrected, a la Twin Peaks: The Return, but with Roy Kent in the Wally Brando role. (There will almost certainly be multiple spinoffs in the future.)

“This is the end of this story that we wanted to tell, that we were hoping to tell, that we loved to tell,” Sudeikis told Deadline. “The fact that folks will want more and are curious beyond more than what they don’t even know yet — that being season three — it’s flattering. Maybe by May 31, once all 12 episodes of the season [have been released], they’re like, ‘Man, you know what, we get it, we’re fine. We don’t need anymore, we got it.’ But until that time comes, I will appreciate the curiosity beyond what we’ve come up with so far.”

The Ted Lasso series finale debuts on Apple TV+ on May 31st.

Rootin’ tootin’ Lauren Boebert continues to tweet into the ether without caring about the comeuppance that comes her way. This was recently the case when she attempted to shame John Fetterman’s “unbecoming” congressional hoodie and when she tweeted about Rosa Parks in a way that confused everyone because no one should be that good at a self-own. Then again, that Bud Light take fit the same bill, and the same vibe might be coming from Boebert’s criticism of President Biden’s recent declaration of a coordinated, multi-agency plan to “fight hate” and “counter antisemitism.”

Oddly, Boebert appears to be taking this as a threat. “When they say stuff like this, they mean they want to go after conservatives,” the congresswoman from Colorado tweeted. “Their tactics are straight out of the USSR’s playbook.”

That’s a stunner of a reach there, but Boebert has apparently committed by leaving the tweet intact, whereas her replies are filled with people wondering why she immediately jumped to “conservatives” when Biden mentioned antisemitism and hate. It’s quite a connection for her to make, and one must wonder why she is acting like she feels threatened. Does Boebert truly feel “personally attacked,” as one user suggested while many others echoed similar sentiments?

Boebert has not followed up on this tweet and, rather, has moved onto different subjects like vowing to vote no on the debt ceiling compromise, but still, it sure looks like a case of “you just so set yourself up” without meaning to sound so, well, defensive. In fact, the responses are absolutely merciless: “No one is taking prisoners today.”

The set times for Glastonbury Festival 2023 have been announced, nearly a month before the five-day festival is due to return to its home at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset, England on June 21-25. This year’s headliners include Arctic Monkeys, Guns N’ Roses, and a special, farewell performance from national treasure Elton John. Further highlights of the event include Lizzo, Lil Nas X, Wizkid, Lana Del Rey, Queens Of The Stone Age, Kelis, Loyle Carner, Christine And The Queens, Phoenix, Fatboy Slim, Rick Astley, and more.

With eleven stages and related events taking place in the surrounding area beginning Wednesday before the festival proper, there is plenty to do for the weekend, and Glastonbury’s website has a full list of just about every official event/set on its website now. In addition to the main festival stages, a sidebar includes links to all of the venues hosting Glastonbury artists as the utterly sprawling festival takes over Pilton.

One artist who won’t be making an appearance is Slowthai, who was dropped from the lineup following news he’d been accused of sexual assault, while the festival’s organizers addressed the festival’s dearth of female headliners shortly after announcing the lineups this year. “We’re trying our best so the pipeline needs to be developed,” said co-organizer Emily Eavis. “This starts way back with the record companies, radio. I can shout as loud as I like but we need to get everyone on board. It’s top of our agenda, and it probably makes it a bit harder because we’ve decided to make that important to us. To be honest, sometimes it’s easier to keep your head down.”

Ed Sheeran has done a lot, but it seems there’s one gig he hasn’t tried until now: Bartending. However, the performer decided to check it off his bucket list during an appearance at Atlanta’s Sweetwater Brewery over the weekend.

“So I’m in Atlanta, and I’ve been told there are some breweries that are good in Atlanta, so I’m going to go to this brewery, serve some beers, play a gig and then buy everyone in the beer garden drinks. Beers on me,” Sheeran said in a video.

He helped customers get their beers for about an hour before also delivering a surprise performance of his recent single, “Eyes Closed.” Later, Sheeran would take the stage at the Mercedes-Benz stadium in the city.

Over the past few weeks, Sheeran has been giving back to fans with pop-up performances across the country while he embarks on his tour. He not only surprised some high school students in Tampa, but gifted their music department some guitars and gave the kids tickets to his sold-out stadium show. Sheeran also played for free outside in New York and Texas.

Anytime Drake publicly declares his love for a sports organization, fans of the club brace for the worse. This athletic superstition has been named the “Drake Curse.” But, according to Boston Celtics fans, there’s another rapper people need to be worried about.

Jack Harlow threw his support behind the team for the Eastern Conference. But, unfortunately, the Mean Green didn’t pull out the victory during game 7 of the series leading the Miami Heat to head to the NBA Finals. So now, Celtics fans are crowning Jack Harlow the new “Drake Curse” after the team blew their home-court advantage.

Seated courtside in his Celtics-branded varsity jacket, the “They Don’t Love It” rapper quickly became a target on social media. On Twitter, fans flooded the platform with anger, one writing, “Jack Harlow really is the next Drake, bro put a curse on the Celtics right now.”

Are Taylor Swift and Matty Healy really dating? It sure looks like it, but since neither of them have come out and confirmed it, fans are left to wonder. Now, though, Heally appears to have addressed the situation, albeit vaguely and indirectly to the point where it’s not 100-percent certain what exactly he was talking about.

This weekend, The 1975 performed at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend festival in Dundee, Scotland. To introduce the band’s set, Healy addressed the crowd by saying, “Is it all a bit? Is it sincere? Will he ever address it? All of these questions and more will be ignored in the next hour. Ladies and gentlemen, this is The 1975.”

Whether or not Swift and Healy are dating, what can be confirmed is that the two have at least been spending some time together recently. Healy popped up at some The Eras Tour shows (and even performed with Phoebe Bridgers while there). Healy and Swift went out on what appeared to be a double date with Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley. They were also spotted in the studio together, along with an all-star lineup featuring Kendrick Lamar, Florence Welch, Jack Antonoff, Channing Tatum, Zoe Kravitz, and others.

A former chef reportedly targeted Doctor Strange star Benedict Cumberbatch and his family during a terrifying incident at the actor’s home in London. The attempted assault went down in early May when 35-year-old Jack Bissell “kicked through the front garden’s iron gate” outside Cumberbatch’s home and began yelling threats at the Marvel star.

“I know you’ve moved here, I hope it burns down,” Bissell allegedly yelled. The former chef also used a fish knife to rip an outdoor intercom off the wall and spit on it. He eventually fled the scene, but was later identified by DNA evidence on the intercom.

A source close to Cumberbatch told the Daily Mail: “Naturally all of the family were absolutely terrified and thought this guy was going to get in and hurt them. Luckily it never went that far. Benedict and Sophie have had many sleepless nights since worrying that they may be targeted again.”

The prosecution told the court that prior to his attack, Bissell bought two packs of pitta bread from a nearby shop and told the shopkeeper he was going to break in and burn down the house.

Despite appearing in court, Bissell has not explained why he targeted Cumberbatch in the target or mounted a defense of his actions. There is no known connection between the former chef and the Sherlock star.

In the latest installment of Keanu Reeves: Total Mensch, Kate Beckinsale revealed how the actor helped her hide a wardrobe malfunction on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival.

The year was 1993, and Beckinsale was there for her film debut in Kenneth Branagh’s Much Ado About Nothing. “I had bought the bodysuit in the Sock Shop at the airport and when I got in the car to drive to the premiere with Denzel and Pauletta Washington, all the poppers in the crotch popped themselves open and it flipped up like a roller blind,” she wrote on Instagram.

Beckinsale “didn’t feel it was appropriate to go delving around in my undercarriage with all of us in the back of the car so I just quietly panicked,” she continued. “Walked out onto the biggest red carpet of my life and whispered to Keanu and Robert Sean Leonard what had happened. In this picture I am holding the front gusset down and the two of them are holding the back gusset.”

Ah yes, a “gusset.” I definitely knew what that is before looking it up on Google five seconds ago, absolutely.

The Underworld actress called Reeves and Sean Leonard “absolute legends who may not even have fully understood the physics of what was happening,” but “both jumped in to save me no questions asked.” That grandmother who leaves Keanu must be so proud of him.

Lana Del Rey took the stage at Brazil’s MITA Festival over the weekend, which culminated in a truly hilarious moment after the pop star lost one of her prized possessions. It marked the singer’s first live show in about three years — so viral moments were bound to happen.

During Del Rey’s performance of “Norman F*cking Rockwell,” she started telling the crew that her vape was missing and attempted to look for it on the stage.

“And also if you see my vape on stage, can you find my vape on stage?” she said.

In the video, Del Rey then hears from someone at the front of the crowd who might have found it.

“You did? Where, though? Oh, all the way in the pit?” she asked, walking closer to the start of the stage. Eventually, she gives up, chalking it up to a simple “f*ck it” and walks back to her mark to continue the set.

According to Page Six, a similar loss for Del Rey had happened during a 2019 show, where she lost it in Portland and uttered a similar “I give up” phrase. Except, she then performed “Video Games.”

The Succession series finale ended with, according to Brian Grubb’s definitive Report Card, failing grades (or close) for most of the characters. The audience won, however, with the “Meal Fit For A King,” which Jeremy Strong apparently drank because he’s so method, but overall, the end was bleak for the Roy siblings. Tom became CEO, Shiv essentially became her mother, and Kendall was left ominously staring at the water, as he does.

Roman, however? His outcome felt the most ambiguous, and as Brian Grubb read it, “He, more than his other siblings, seems free now, with all of that business behind him.” Also, he really enjoyed sipping that martini, so what was he possibly thinking in that moment? Plenty of people couldn’t get past the fact that Roman was drinking Gerri’s drink of choice and smiling, presumably while thinking of her. This is an awfully bizarre (and probably fitting for him) thing to do after doing some pretty terrible things to her, including firing Gerri after the whole d*ck pics fiasco. That had turned into a real nightmare for Gerri along the way, but she’s supposedly getting paid, so good for her.

As for J. Smith-Cameron, she decided to tweet what a lot of people were thinking about the Martini Moment: “My ex wants me back”

Was that a cosign? Officially, no: “( is how some people interpreted this)”

Still, plenty of people either wanted to believe or full-on did believe, because of that particular smile on Roman’s face.

I think they’re spot-on about what Roman was pondering, but damn, I hope Gerri never looks back at him.

One thing seems pretty certain though: J. Smith-Cameron has hopped into the “succession fandom” realm, too.
