Trump Could Wind Up Losing Everything But His Pensions After The Attorney General Investigation

They don’t call him “Teflon Don” for nothing. For the last several years, Donald Trump has been on the verge of losing everything. He’s been caught on tape bragging about sexual assault. He’s been impeached twice. He’s even openly confessed to crimes. So take it with a quarry of salt that the former president may be finally toast. And yet the twin investigations into his business by the New York State attorney general’s office and the Manhattan district attorney are nothing to sneeze at, especially when the former has already claimed to have found “significant evidence” of fraud.

One expert laid out a grim scenario for the reality TV star-turned-most powerful person on the planet. Investigative journalist David Cay Johnston appeared on MSNBC Saturday, where he was asked if Trump was at risk of personal bankruptcy.

“Oh, it is possible that Donald, at the end of the day, will be left with nothing but his presidential pension and his union pension from his TV show, because those are the only assets he has that would be protected,” Johnston stated. “And given that Donald brags about how much ‘he loves money, he cares about money more than anything else,’ that’s his words, not mine, this is a very troubling for him.”

Johnston claimed Trump “could lose not just the Trump Organization but his apartment, his mansion in Westchester County, his golf courses, Mar-a-Lago, all of that can be at risk in these both criminal and civil proceedings that are coming against him in a number of jurisdictions.” He added, “Especially if the New York attorney general arranges to have his business put out of business.”

Whatever winds up happening, Trump’s definitely in deep doo-doo. A recent report stated that he probably needs to start selling some properties to stay afloat. Long as he has at least one resort where he can rant to strangers about the election he lost bigly.

You can watch Johnston’s predictions in the video below.

What New Product Might Tommy Start Selling On ‘Power’?

(SPOILERS for this week’s Power Book IV: Force will be found below.)

Now that he’s decided to stay put in Chicago, Tommy Egan has one goal for his time in the Windy City: to make as much money as possible. In Power Book IV: Force, he begins by aligning himself with Diamond, who brings him along for a mission that requires them to move a large batch of cocaine in three hours. In this week’s episode, Tommy opts to partner with Liliana and produce their own batch of cocaine, which they hope to use in a deal to unite two of Chicago’s street gangs: CBI and the Irish Crime Family. Tommy’s attempt falls through due to longtime disdain between the two groups. However, a new opportunity lands in his lap at the end of the episode.

What New Product Might Tommy Start Selling On ‘Power’?

Towards the end of the episode, Tommy is stopped by Claudia Flynn, the older sister of Victor Flynn and the daughter of Walter Flynn, who runs the Irish Crime Family. During her meeting with Tommy, Claudia baits him into teaming up with her for a new product that will “kick your teeth in a thousand times over.” Shortly after, Claudia and a woman that she’s romantically involved with are discussing the drug, and it’s here that she reveals it has a chemical compound that is “too close to cocaine.” Claudia also says that it came from a “busted diet pill.”

The drug was first introduced during the inaugural episode Power Book IV: Force in an intimate scene between Claudia and the aforementioned woman.

What Makes Tommy A Firestarter On ‘Power’?

(SPOILERS for this week’s Power Book IV: Force will be found below.)

We’re just three episodes into Power Book IV: Force, and it’s clear that Tommy Egan is a force to be reckoned with. After packing up his things from New York for a move that was initially set to bring him to Los Angeles, Tommy decided a stop in Chicago was necessary. There, he reconnected with his half-brother JP and found a new love. However, he’s also ruffled feathers with two prominent gangs in Chicago: CBI and the Irish Crime Family. In episode three of Power, which is titled “Firestarter,” we see Tommy start plenty of fires in the Windy City.

What Makes Tommy A Firestarter On ‘Power’?

In previous Power episodes, Tommy’s presence and growing alliance with CBI’s Diamond, who was released from a long stint in jail in episode one, sparks a rift between Diamond and his younger brother Jenard, who led CBI while Diamond was behind bars. The two don’t see eye-to-eye on many things with Diamond wanting to keep Tommy and Jenard eyeing to get rid of him. In this week’s episode, Tommy presents a deal to Diamond that could possibly change things for CBI. However, Jenard’s refusal to let go of the top spot leads to him and Diamond literally fighting with the winner taking over CBI. Diamond won the fight, but it was later revealed that Jenard threw the match, which will certainly cause damage to the unity of CBI.

Elsewhere on this episode of Power, Tommy reignites a fire between CBI and the Irish Crime Family, who have been at odds for years. Tommy’s attempt to settle their differences in the name of making money backfires when Walter Flynn, who runs Irish Crime Family, refuses to put the past behind him during the deal. This causes an intense back and forth between Diamond and Walter during the meeting.

Lastly, Tommy prepares to start another fire by connecting with Claudia Flynn, Walter’s only daughter and older brother of Vic. She teases a new deal with him that would allow her to forge her own path in the drug world, as her family has iced her out of the Irish Crime Family.

New episodes of STARZ’s ‘Power Book IV: Force’ are available to watch on Sunday at 12:00am EST.

Kanye West Shares A Lengthy List Of People He’s Had Beef With

Earlier this month, Kanye West revealed that Kid Cudi would not appear on his upcoming album Donda 2 due to his friendship with Pete Davidson (or “Skete,” as Kanye calls him). Just like that, Cudi joined a long list of people with whom Kanye has had issues. In case you forget everyone who’s gotten on Kanye’s bad side, the HipHopNumbers’ Twitter account jotted down a list, though they clearly forgot some names.

HipHopNumbers’ initial list included names like Taylor Swift, Wiz Khalifa, Billie Eilish, Pete Davidson, Drake, Ray J, South Park, Harriet Tubman, Bruno Mars, Louis Vuitton, Amber Rose, TMZ, the American Music Awards, 50 Cent, and more. However, today, just a few days after the initial list was shared, Kanye took to Instagram to add more names to it.

“Come on guys… This list is twice as long,” Kanye wrote. “You gotta put Apple, Spotify, Vivendi, Universal, [Lucian Grainge], Tik Tok, Black History Month, Obama, the whole cast of SNL, Hillary Clinton, the Devil himself, Corey Gamble, [Jeff] Bezos, Charlamagne [Tha God], Disney, [Liberals], and of course Skete and any and all corny sh*t in general.” He added, “Can somebody from Chicago let these people know what Skete meant when we was growing up? It’s up for everybody!!!!!” before concluding with, “Wow. Being rich is fun!!!!”

Channing Tatum Was Reluctant To Do ‘Magic Mike 3’ Because It’s A Giant Pain To Get Into Stripper Shape

Beauty is pain, as the beautiful will tell you. Just ask Channing Tatum. The actor is doing press rounds for his new movie Dog, which he also co-directed, and one thing he’s being asked about is the thus-far McConaughey-less Magic Mike’s Last Dance, the threequel to his stripper saga that first stimulated audiences a decade ago. And he revealed he almost turned it down, if only because it is a giant pain in the neck to get in stripper shape.

During an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Tatum was asked about getting back into the extensive fitness regimen for the third film. “That might be the reason why I didn’t want to do a third one,” Tatum revealed. “Because I have to look like that.”

He went on. “It’s hard to look like that. Even if you do work out, to be that kind of in shape is not natural,” he said. “That’s not even healthy. You have to starve yourself. I don’t think when you’re that lean, it’s actually healthy.”

Besides, he’s also a dad. “I don’t know how people who work a 9 to 5 actually stay in shape because it’s my full-time job, and I can barely do it,” he confessed.

Tatum, who’s now in his early 40s, said that he got back into Magic Mike shape by working out twice a day and eating “completely right.” Even then, he found that a six pack can go away just like that.

“Why — when it takes like, I don’t know, two months to get really lean — in three days, you can lose it?” he said. “It’s gone. I was like, ‘What happened?’”

So when you see Magic Mike’s Last Dance, whenever it’s ready, appreciate how much pain Tatum went through to look that good.

Tom Holland’s Mom Had To Beg The ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Team To Give Him More Pee Breaks

Right now Tom Holland is one of the biggest stars in the world. He’s the star of Spider-Man: No Way Home, which very quickly became one of the highest grossing movies in history. This weekend he’s back to the top of the charts, headlining the long-gestating video game adaptation Uncharted. But back when he was filming his maiden solo voyage, 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, he was just some up-and-coming British kid. He was so nervous that his mom had to beg the filmmakers to give him more pee breaks.

Holland recently reflected on his early days on Live with Kelly and Ryan, talking about how cumbersome his Spidey suit could be. “On the first movie, I remember we were shooting this sequence on the Washington Monument, and I was in the suit for days at a time, 11 hours [a day], and I was young, so I wanted to impress the studio,” he recalled. “I didn’t want them to think that I needed breaks.”

Eventually he reached out…to his mother. “I was like, ‘Mom, I’m really struggling. I’m working every day, and because I wear the suit, I can’t go to the bathroom,’” he said. “And then two days later the producer came up to me and was like, ‘How are your kidneys?’”

Holland replied, “My kidneys are fine. Why are you asking?” The producer told him, “Well, your mom called us…”

So the next time you’re starring in a blockbuster as one of the comic world’s most iconic superheroes, don’t feel weird about excusing yourself.

Nicki Minaj Claps Back At Philadelphia Public Health’s Twitter Account For Bringing Up Her Old Vaccine Tweets

We’re a few months removed from Nicki Minaj’s bizarre string of tweets regarding the COVID-19 vaccine. Back then the musician infamously claimed that her cousin’s friend became impotent as a result of the vaccine. “His testicles became swollen,” she added. “His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied.” Fast forward to the present, and Nicki sent out a casual tweet that read, “Nothing like watching someone speak confidently about something they know nothing about.” The irony huh?

https://twitter.com/NICKIMINAJ/status/1494825259580608514

In response, Philadelphia Public Health’s Twitter account responded with a screenshot of Nicki’s “testicles” tweet, and while many got a good laugh out of the response, Nicki herself did not find it funny. “Philadelphia’s public health account is posting Nicki Minaj tweets for engagement,” she wrote in response. “They are attempting to shame ppl for advising others to PRAY, be COMFORTABLE & NOT BE BULLIED. I’ve never seen a vaccine trigger this amount of shaming & fear tactics have you? #DoWeHaveAProblem.”

While Philadelphia Public Health’s Twitter account did not directly respond to Nicki, they did reply to a fan who replied to them. “PDPH love y’all but coming for b a r b z is a bad move,” the fan wrote to which PPH replied, “It’s all love” with two laughing emojis.

You can view the exchange between Nicki and PPH above.

Scott Eastwood Said Brad Pitt Had To Break Up A Fight Between He And Shia LaBeouf While Shooting ‘Fury’

Clint Eastwood is famous for playing tough guys who don’t take kindly to aggression (and, occasionally, nice guys who just want to watch sunsets). His son Scott, meanwhile, once almost got into a real fight. In a new interview with Insider, the younger Eastwood recalls filming the 2014 WWII film Fury, from future Suicide Squad director David Ayer. At one point things got so febrile between he and co-star Shia LaBeouf that star Brad Pitt had to break it up.

Eastwood had a small role as a sergeant who at one point hitches a ride with our heroes in their tank. The script called for Eastwood to spit inside the vehicle, but LaBeouf thought he was being genuinely disrespectful. One thing led to another and the two came to loggerheads.

“[LaBeouf] got mad at me and it turned into a volatile moment that Brad Pitt ultimately got in the middle of,” Eastwood told Insider.

Eastwood added that he doesn’t believe actors should go so Method that you enrage your co-workers. “I never think your process as an actor should ever hinder how people are treated on set,” he said. “It should always enhance the production, not take away and put people in a situation where it’s a shitty work environment or you’re rude or people have to be in an uncomfortable situation.”

This story has been told before. Pitt himself brought it up while talking to British GQ back in 2014:

“We were driving down the road, I’m in the turret, Shia is at the other turret, and Scott is on the back, spitting [chewing tobacco]. … And I’m starting to get pissed off, I’m starting to get hot, because this is our home, he’s disrespecting our home, you know? So I said, in the scene with the cameras rolling, ‘You’re going to clean that shit up.’ Shia clocks it, and you have to understand, we’ve been through severe boot camp already, we’ve been through a lot in this tank. Shia saw it and felt the same — he’s disrespecting our home. So Shia had the same reaction I did, and started having some words.”

After breaking up the fight, Pitt realized the error of their ways, saying, “when we got home at the end of the day and read the script, it said Scotty’s character is ‘chewing tobacco and spitting it on the back of the tank.’ He was just doing as instructed in the script! So we were the knobs in the end.”

Jarrett Allen Proves The Cavs Big Experiment Is For Real With His First All-Star Nod

Heist movies don’t usually end this well. The hero tends to be the big name who gets away with the loot they’ve secreted to a second location, while the clumsy sidekicks are left holding the proverbial bag. How often do we see the backup eclipsing the star with the quiet surety of something like gravitational pull? Knowing how big a fan he is of space — the concept, but predominantly the ever-expanding place — it feels a very specific kind of right that that’s been the case this season for Jarrett Allen.

Last January, when James Harden’s three-team trade deal sent the superstar north to the Brooklyn Nets, Allen was one of the players caught in its crosswinds. At the time, Allen to Cleveland was more or less a free roll of the dice for a team that slid into a deal to seemingly help facilitate it. But the Cavs had other ideas. Taller goals.

The Cavs offered Allen a five-year, $100 million contract in early August and soon nabbed Lauri Markkanen in a sign-and-trade with the Bulls, a deal that went from vehemently derided to compulsively questioned. The team had already drafted Evan Mobley and they couldn’t be serious about getting bigger, what was the plan here? Probably one of the least clandestine teams in the league, the plan was right there in front of everybody, but one question loomed among the rest: what was Cleveland going to do, play all three bigs at once?

Yes, exactly that.

With Mobley being a rookie, Markkanen in and out to start the season, and Allen accustomed to being asked to do a little of everything with the Nets but never being in a position to pick for himself, there were reasonable questions about the fit. Head coach J.B. Bickerstaff did not care. He asked his bigs to figure each other out a little better but not on the floor, in a bigs group chat. The familiarity soon spilled over.

At the defacto halfway point of the regular season, the Cavs are 2.5 games back from first place in the East, tied up with the 76ers for third. Even including the unassuming dominance of the Bulls, they are the biggest and frankly most sublime surprise of the year. And now, for the 10th time in franchise history, Cleveland has two players in this weekend’s All-Star game with the injury replacement Allen will make for Harden, the superstar who pulled him into this supernova in the first place.

What Mobley lends in pure engine, and Darius Garland brings in range, Allen alchemizes and perfects in all-around performance. Averaging 16.2 points and 11 rebounds per game — both career highs — Allen is on pace to become the fourth player in NBA history to average 15 points and 10 rebounds a night on 66.6 percent shooting, and sits second overall in the league in true shooting percentage (68.8).

It isn’t just at the offensive end of the floor that Allen, so long only and best known for being a prolific dunker, is buoying up the team that saw him as integral to a totally new version of the future, he’s become a decidedly deadly defensive mainstay, too.

“Bigs have been able to expand their range and basically turn into guards,” Allen told Dime in November, when asked what versatility in his position meant to him. “But now, versatility is on the other side of the court, on the defensive end. Being able to guard one through five, and different actions too.”

Allen was adamant, “I want to be able to guard any position.”

At the rim, he’s holding opponents to 51.1 percent shooting — the league average is 67.6 percent — and ranks third overall in contested shots. For all the conversations around All-Star alternates who may be playing a flashier game than Allen, he ranks higher than Pascal Siakam or Jaylen Brown in player efficiency ratings, win shares (fifth overall), and defensive win shares (fourth overall).

For Allen, whose expectations have always been grounded (once even to the point of detriment — when asked during combine interviews whether he could live without basketball Allen simply answered “yes,” thinking that literally, he could — the Cavs experiment this season has borne out in its initial outlandish hypothesis largely due to his practiced, steady skill.

“Growing up, we weren’t able to touch the ball and distribute like we are now,” Allen said earlier this season. “But now I’m able to make the pass to the open man, the ball is getting in my hands more and I’m making the right decisions. It’s a feel, but sometimes you gotta find the open man, sometimes the three is going to get the team going. You just have to be able to find the right balance.”

A balanced All-Star is, traditionally, something of an anomaly — these are players best celebrated for just how explosive, how uncalibrated they can be. Still, anomalies are often the things that bear out best in history for how they come to upend the entire known formula as it stood before. At the core of what the Cavs first dared to try, experiment at, and finally perfect, is a belief in Jarrett Allen, who has made that belief pay off with an All-Star nod.
