That fire is fueled by Boebert’s past statements about drag shows because she was groping a Democrat Bar Guy whose establishment participates in Aspen Gay Week each year, so it doesn’t seem likely that her opponents will let her forget the mess that went down in a crowded Denver theater with families present.

Additionally, Boebert herself cannot stop inadvertently reminding everyone about the incident. Even one word from her, including “joy,” has been enough to set people off. When she mentioned “encounters at the Southern border,” social media collectively tittered. Over the weekend, it somehow kept going.

Boebert spoke with Steve Bannon for his War Room program on Real America’s Network. In the process, Boebert promised that she will be all business while also insisting she’d rather be hanging with her kids and grandkid. At the end, she declared, “I’m not here for the political show, the political theater.”

Bannon, for his part, is a Boebert fan and even referred to her as “a hammer when it comes to policy.” Still, the word “theater” was simply too much for people to handle, so Beavis And Butt-Head may have entered the chat.

J. Cole wasn’t on the marquee for the iHeartRadio Music Festival 2023 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas over the weekend, but he surprised fans during Lil Durk’s set for a performance of “All My Life.” He also made Danielle Fishel’s day backstage.

Fishel is best known for her iconic role of Topanga Lawrence on Boy Meets World from 1993 to 2000, and she attended the festival with Rider Strong and Will Friedle, her former Boy Meets World castmates and current Pod Meets World co-hosts.

A video circulated by a J. Cole fan account on an X (formerly known as Twitter) shows Fishel beside herself as she approaches Cole in a hallway in the bowels of T-Mobile Arena. “I have to say hi to you,” she says. “I went and saw your show in LA. […] Unbelievable! I’m such a big fan.” Cole kindly responds, “Me, too. Likewise.”

Separately, Fishel posted an Instagram reel recapping her whole weekend — set to Harry Styles’ “Golden” instead of a Cole song, but whatever — that involved posing on the red carpet with Friedle and Strong, dancing with Lance Bass, hugging J. Cole, and snapping photos with Miguel and Kane Brown.

“Vegas for the #iheartmusicfestival2023 was AMAZING,” Fishel captioned an Instagram reel. “I spent time with a few #bffs forever (@rider_strong, #willfriedle, @lancebass and @michaelturchinart), met a few ICONS (@realcoleworld, @thegr8khalid, @kanebrown), and danced to the one and only @officialtlc. Washington D.C.’s All Things Go Festival started in 2014 and is back in 2023 for another (…ahem) go this Saturday and Sunday, September 30-October 1. That’s quite an impressive run. After calling the fest an opportunity to improve the gender imbalance in the music festival industry in 2018, the show’s organizers have since doubled down, fielding all women headliners the next year and dedicating a full day to women performers.

This year, they’re going even further; nearly the entire lineup is made up of women or acts fronted by women, including headliners Maggie Rogers and Lana Del Rey, and an undercard featuring Carly Rae Jepsen, Boygenius, Muna, Beabadoobee, Arlo Parks, Raye, Tegan and Sara, Sudan Archives, Alvvays, Ethel Cain, Samia, and more. Bruce Willis‘ aphasia diagnosis is “the blessing and the curse,” according to his wife, Emma Heming Willis.

“To finally understand what was happening so that I could be into the acceptance of what is — it doesn’t make it any less painful, but… just being in the know of what is happening to Bruce makes it a little easier,” she said on Monday’s episode of the Today show. When asked if her husband, who retired from acting, is aware of what’s happening, she replied, “It’s hard to know.”

Frontotemporal dementia is different from Alzheimer’s in a few ways, [Susan Dickinson, head of the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration] told Today. In particular, it affects a different part of the brain — language processing areas rather than areas involved in memory — so the symptoms present differently. “It can affect speech, behaviors, personality and what we call executive functioning,” Dickinson said, referring to skills that help to plan ahead and achieve goals.

Heming Willis referred to herself as Willis’ “care partner” rather than a “care taker” because “it’s important for care partners to look after themselves so that they can be the best care partner for the person they’re caring for.” She added, “The most important thing was to be able, for us, to say what the disease was, explain what it is, because when you know what the disease is from a medical standpoint it sort of all makes sense. It was important that we let [our daughters] know what it is because I don’t want there to be any stigma or shame attached to their dad’s diagnosis or any form of dementia.”

However, there is one thing we know Bill Belichick loves beyond the world of football, and that is Taylor Swift, as he converted into Swift fandom when he saw her Eras Tour stop in New England earlier this year. Belichick isn’t quite sure he’s a Swiftie, but he is a fan and so there was naturally a curiosity for his take as the NFL and Taylor Swift worlds collide with her showing up to the Chiefs-Bears game on Sunday to watch Travis Kelce amid dating rumors.

On The Greg Hill Show on WEEI in Boston, Belichick made his weekly Monday morning appearance after the Pats beat the Jets and, after talking through the game, he was asked for his thoughts on the goings on in Kansas City and played along with it much better than anyone would anticipate he would, calling it “the biggest catch” of Kelce’s career.

As someone who has watched Belichick bristle at and refuse to answer questions he views as nonsensical for years, it’s pretty hysterical that he’s willing to have fun here with the Kelce-Swift stuff. That just shows his Swiftie bonafides and Travis better be careful, because if this thing ends poorly not only will he have millions of Swift’s fans on him, but one of the biggest names in the NFL seems like he’ll side with Taylor too.

Now that the Writers Guild of America and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers have reached a tentative agreement after a lengthy, months-long strike, it would seem that the late night talk shows have a green light to return. Not quite yet.

While popular hosts like Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert, Seth Meyers, and John Oliver are itching to get their people back to work, there are still a few more hurdles before their shows can return to the air. Namely, that the deal has to be finalized, and there’s still the matter of the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.

Sources told Deadline that the shows will likely return a few days after the strike is officially over, once the WGA Board and Council votes to lift the restraining order. This would give the writers the chance to return and the crew to get the production process going again.

They do not need to wait until the SAG-AFTRA strike is over as they are not struck shows, although don’t expect a phalanx of actors to turn up as guests as they are still on strike and won’t be promoting struck work.

However, once the WGA and AMPTP agreement has been locked in, Deadline reports that Kimmel, Colbert, Meyers, and Jimmy Fallon will most likely return on the same night.

The four network hosts (along with Oliver whose Last Week Tonight airs on Sundays) have been working closely together on the Strike Force Five podcast and will reportedly coordinate their returns as a show of solidarity.

There’s a temptation to make the headline for this post something like “Martin Scorsese SLAMS Superhero Movies.” But that would be a discredit to his thoughtful words when the topic came up during an interview with GQ.

“The danger there is what it’s doing to our culture. Because there are going to be generations now that think movies are only those — that’s what movies are,” the Goodfellas director said, sending a chill down my spine. Scorsese believes the opposition to franchise saturation needs to “come from the grassroots level. It’s gotta come from the filmmakers themselves. And you’ll have, you know, the Safdie brothers, and you’ll have Chris Nolan, you know what I mean? And hit ’em from all sides. Hit ’em from all sides, and don’t give up. Let’s see what you got. Go out there and do it. Go reinvent. Don’t complain about it. But it’s true, because we’ve got to save cinema.”

“It’s manufactured content. It’s almost like AI making a film. And that doesn’t mean that you don’t have incredible directors and special effects people doing beautiful artwork. But what does it mean? What do these films, what will it give you? Aside from a kind of consummation of something and then eliminating it from your mind, your whole body, you know? About nine minutes into the fourth and final episode of the Disney+ documentary series Ed Sheeran: The Sum Of It All, Sheeran is in his New York City hotel room, away from his wife and two daughters for yet another promotional cycle as a multi-platinum-certified pop star. “It’s just about balance of, like, not overdoing it, but also, my personality is to overdo everything — all the time,” he says.

Sheeran just wrapped his Subtract Tour and has one rescheduled Mathematics Tour date left on October 28, and he’s only four months removed from dropping his – Subtract album, but it’s not in his personality to rest on laurels. And so, he will next release Autumn Variations — having already jumpstarted another album cycle with a cameo at a Starbucks and recording a live version by way of surprising fans in their living rooms.
