Ed Sheeran, weeks after announcing he’d be continuing his large-scale Mathematics tour into 2023, recently revealed that he’s getting a documentary made about his life. While it appears to still be in the early stages of development, Sheeran told The Sun that they are shooting — exploring both his life on and off the road.

“We are shooting a documentary at the moment about my life, and there was a big conversation about what we include,” Sheeran said. “As long as it’s honest and it links in with a theme of something that’s in a song — there is no point in putting something in if it’s detrimental to my life.”

“It is a very fine line, it is why I live in Suffolk and not in LA. My life as a celebrity is turned on when I am in New York, but at home I am a friend, a dad, a husband, a son,” he continued. “You can’t bring celebrity baggage to home.” In 2019, he married Cherry Seaborn and they currently have two children.

Sheeran is continuing to release new music, even with all of his creative projects. His song, “Celestial,” appears on the soundtrack for video games Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.

Even though we just said goodbye to the Targaryen family less than a week ago, fans are still eagerly awaiting any news about the second season of the hit series. Though not all of the cast will be returning (RIP Viserys), there is still so much to unearth on House of the Dragon. And it will be lighter (meaning that we might be able to see it)! Maybe. But when will the second season grace our screens?

It’s pretty clear that House of the Dragon is a major hit for HBO, and they have confirmed that they will be listening to the fans when it comes to what works and what doesn’t. Considering that major shakeup in the writer’s room, it might take longer than normal to churn out season two. The lone showrunner Ryan Condal has already confirmed that they are currently working on writing the next season, but that doesn’t mean it’s coming soon.

Production for season one took place from April 2021 – October 2021, with post-production and editing taking place well into this year. That means an entire season of the show takes roughly a year to make, give or take a few CGI maggots. Season two has been confirmed to start filming in Spain from March to June 2023, which means that the earliest we could possibly get more dragon drama is the summer of 2024.

Of course, HBO knows when a hit is a hit, so they might try to churn out those episodes sooner. But they don’t want to rush, so it might be quite some time until we see our familiar blonde-haired clan. On the other hand, that will give the crew plenty of time to create more cringe-worthy viral moments. It will be worth the wait!

A Back to the Future reboot? Where we’re going, we don’t need a Back to the Future reboot — as long as director Robert Zemeckis and writer Bob Gale are still alive.

The pair own the rights to the time-travel trilogy, meaning Universal can’t make another Back to the Future movie without their permission. And they’re not interested. Gale compared a fourth Back to the Future movie to prostitution, accurately pointing out that “nobody wants to see another actor playing Marty McFly if it’s supposed to be a continuation,” while Zemeckis told the Telegraph, “That can’t happen until both Bob and I are dead. And then I’m sure they’ll do it, unless there’s a way our estates can stop it.”

If/when a reboot does happen, however, Michael J. Fox has an idea for what it could be about. “I actually had this thought that if they did the movie again, they should do it with a girl as Marty,” the actor told Entertainment Tonight. That should go over well with the same people (including a certain former-president) who loved 2016’s Ghostbusters.

Fox, who recently reunited with co-star Christopher Lloyd at New York Comic-Con, also discussed the legacy of Back to the Future.

“What’s most amazing about Back to the Future is that — and it has nothing to do with me — but it has this life. People don’t just like it and remember it, they celebrate it and embrace it and get my face tattooed on their leg… It’s crazy but in a good way.”

If my calculations are correct, the second Zemeckis and Gale are no longer with us, you’re gonna see some serious sh*t.

In recent times, Britney Spears has really taken to showing some skin on Instagram; Here’s a post from two days ago, for example, of Spears naked on a beach. In a different post that has since been deleted, Spears defended her revealing photos and seemingly went after Selena Gomez in the process.

Spears wrote, “Don’t you just love the nerve of women who stand firmly getting awards and speak on their beliefs about not showing their bodies on instagram ???!!!!! They say ‘This is NOT something I would do’ yet those women are the very ones who get 4 million dollar budget videos made about sucking and licking on homemade ice cream !!!! These other girls have nothing but beautiful bodies !!!! Who cares if the flaunt it ??? THEY SHOULD !!! So the next time I see someone with a big budget video sucking on lollipops yet giving righteous speeches shaming other women for exposing their bodies, I would like to tell those people don’t be a hypocrite as you suck on your lollipop having HUGE budget dreams … why would you stand firmly against girls getting attention JUST LIKE YOU and they have absolutely nothing ????”

Fans quickly speculated that Spears was referencing Gomez’s speech at the 2016 American Music Awards and her video for “Ice Cream.” “I don’t want to see your bodies on Instagram: I want to see what’s in here,” she said in that speech while patting her heart. “I’m not trying to get validation, nor do I need it anymore.”

This comes a few months after Spears praised Gomez (who attended her wedding) on Instagram, writing, “I appreciate ALL the mental health speeches she does for our generation … Two hour specials with representatives … You’re such a special person and I had to share this picture … I thought it would make her happy.”

Jack Weller is becoming must-see Jeopardy! TV. The first time he appeared on the game show, he and fellow contestant Brian Chang ended in a Final Jeopardy! in a tie (Chang correctly answered the tiebreaker question, sending Weller home). “The was some finish,” host Ken Jennings said after the game ended. “I’ve never seen one of those and I’ve been here, like, 100 times.” Weller returned to Jeopardy! on Tuesday as part of the Second Chance Tournament, and this time, he won — but not before getting laughed at by Jennings (and everyone watching at home) for one of his answers.

The category was, “Plurals That Don’t End in S.” The clue: “Moose.” The plural of moose is, of course, moose (there’s even a whole song about it), but Weller hesitantly guessed, “What are meese?” Jennings couldn’t help but laugh while informing him “no, Jack!”

The wonderful thing about Jeopardy! is that a contestant will know the two seas that are separated by the Kattegat and Skagerrak straits (that was the Final Jeopardy! clue), but they’ll get tripped up by the plural of moose, something the average fourth grader knows.

Lewis Capaldi had a hit on his hands with his 2019 debut album, Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent, which topped the UK charts and yielded “Someone You Loved,” a No. 1 single in the US. He’s gearing to follow that up next year with Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent. This time around, he got an assist from Ed Sheeran, who co-wrote a track called “Pointless.” Now Capaldi says he had his reservations about working with Sheeran.

In a BBC interview, Capaldi said he wasn’t sure about teaming up because “every British artist who has a No. 1 record seems to have Ed on it.” He continued, “That’s a testament to how good he is but I was wary of it. My ego was going, ‘I don’t want people thinking Ed wrote my song. I actually mentioned that to him and he offered to take up a pseudonym. But at the end of the day, he did help write it so there should be no question.”

Furthermore, Capaldi also took exception to one Sheeran lyric that didn’t end up making the song, which went, “She gives me more than everything, I’ll give her my last name.” Capaldi explained, “I was like, ‘Ed, this is 2022. No one has to take anyone’s second name. I’m not singing that!’ I don’t even think that Ed’s own wife has got his last name.”

He also noted that Sheeran “brought out the softie in” him.

A very popular pick in the Western Conference Finals last year was a showdown between the Golden State Warriors and the Phoenix Suns. While Golden State ended up getting to that point, the Suns were stunned by the Dallas Mavericks, which prevented basketball fans from watching a showdown between an up-and-coming squad and the multi-time champions.

Tuesday night gave a glimpse into why that matchup was so highly-anticipated. While the two teams squared off in Phoenix in an early regular season game, tensions were high between the two sides, to the point that Klay Thompson actually got ejected from an NBA game for the first time in his NBA career. Something did not sit well with Thompson in one of his interactions with Devin Booker, and the two sharpshooting wings went back-and-forth to the point that the pair got hit with double technicals.

The camera cut away, but in that time, Thompson picked up a second technical while he was over on the bench, which led to him getting kicked out of the game. And while he made his way into the locker room, he made sure to get his money’s worth by continuing to say things to Phoenix’s bench.

It’s unclear what was said here, but the good news is we’ll get at least three more games between these division rivals this season.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is arriving in two weeks, and the recent promotion of the movie seems to be hinting at something. In New York City, the electronic billboards focus cryptically on the “R,” isolating the letter and making it bigger, which people are interpreting as a nod to the singer Rihanna.

This may seem like a stretch, but it’s worth noting that Rihanna’s involvement in the film has been suspected for a little while. A week or so ago, New York Times pop culture columnist Kyle Buchanan seemed to be confirmed the news in a tweet, saying she recorded the end credits to the film. He tweeted, “Rumors are flying, and I can add to them: I’ve been hearing for weeks that Rihanna is recording the end-credits song for BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER. How do you follow up a classic like ‘All the Stars’? By snagging Rihanna’s first big song in years.”

This particular rumor follows her recent announcement of Savage X Fenty Sport ahead of her upcoming fashion show, Savage X Fenty, Vol. 4. Her collection of lingerie-inspired sportswear is set to arrive in tandem with Savage X Fenty, Vol. 4 next month, about which she said, “I was inspired by everyday life. Everything is a sport. Being pregnant is a sport.”

Steph Curry entered Tuesday night’s game against the Phoenix Suns a perfect 22-for-22 from the free throw line on the season. Curry tends to make a lot of shots from the free throw line — he’s a career 90.9 percent shooter from the charity stripe — but still, he was on quite the hot streak at the beginning of the 2022-23 campaign.

But of course, Curry missed a free throw because of the thing that has caused more missed free throws than Hack-a-Shaq: the announcer’s jinx. TNT is broadcasting Tuesday night’s game, and right as Curry stepped up to the stripe for the first time against Phoenix, Harlan just so happened to mention that his record was unblemished so far.

As a result, the ball got about halfway down before deciding to pop up, as if it had conspired with Harlan to give us a moment that we could blog about. Curry seemed to realize what was going on, too, and even pointed at Harlan as if to blame him for the miss.

At least everyone was able to laugh about this, because before the miss, Curry was on pace to go the entirety of the season without a miss from the free throw line, which would have been very impressive.

Over the last few years, Pete Davidson has turned into a perhaps unlikely sex symbol. Or maybe “unlikely” is inaccurate; just ask Emily Ratajkowski. The SNL alum has had his share of high-profile romances, including with someone once married to a certain figure currently in the midst of an implosion. Now another celebrity has thrown her hat in the “would date Pete Davidson” ring.

As caught by Page Six, Martha Stewart went on The Drew Barrymore Show Tuesday, where the two played a game called “Red Flag, Yellow Flag, Green Flag,” in which the guest weighs in on certain qualities they may find turn-ons or turn-offs. At one point, Barrymore was describing the mystery man, saying, “Your date has as many tattoos as Pete Davidson.”

Maybe unexpectedly, the lifestyle guru raised a green flag, signaling that she was down. That prompted Barrymore to inform her, “Okay, your date is Pete Davidson.” Again, Stewart went with green.

“I mean he has dated so many women,” Stewart said. When Barrymore responded with a “So what?”, Stewart clarified, saying, “No I’m not saying that’s bad. I think that’s good and he’s sort of cute.”

Stewart added that she knows Davidson, which shocked Barrymore. “Oh you didn’t know I know him? He was on the [Justin] Bieber roast with me, do you remember?” she recalled. “He was this little twerp. He was even twerpier than Bieber.”

Barrymore weighed in, saying, “But everybody speaks about Pete Davidson in such a positive way. Like he has to be a good guy.”
“Oh he is a good guy,” Stewart replied. “Very good guy and he knows how to get in and get out.”

So anyway, Pete Davidson, you can have Martha Stewart if you want. Everyone else can watch her Barrymore appearance. The Davidson business begins around the 2-minute mark.
