Drake Is Waiting For A Woman To ‘Search & Rescue’ Him On His New Single

Just hours after teasing his new single, Drake has dropped some heat. On his newest single, “Search & Rescue,” Drake is on the search for a special woman.

On the song’s chorus, Drizzy is waiting for this woman to “come and rescue” him, as he rap-sings over a beat produced by Sadpony and BNYX.

“I need someone to be patient with me / Someone to get money with, not take it from me, look / They don’t even need to be as famous as me / I don’t think I’ll meet ’em at the places I be / But deep down I think about you all day, mami / I know I’m a pit bull, but dale, mami,” he sings on the song’s chorus.

The song also contains a vocal sample taken from Kim Kardashian on her reality series The Kardashians. In the clip, Kim is heard saying, “I didn’t come this far, just to come this far and not be happy, remember that.” Earlier in the week, a preview of the song played on Drake’s SiriusXM radio show, Sound 42, and the sample led fans to believe he may be reigniting a beef with Kanye West. Though later, his father, Dennis Graham, took to the TMZ Instagram comments to clear up these theories, saying, “Drake is not trolling anyone, it’s just a song,”

The song marks Drake’s first solo release of 2023, which indicates that a new album may be imminent.

Kaytranada And Aminé Prove They’re In This ‘4Eva’ By Sharing The First Single From Their Joint Album

Earlier this week, Kaytranada and Aminé announced that they’d be joining forces as the fitting “Kaytraminé” for a new project “coming soon,” as shared on social media. It appears fans are now getting the first glimpse of their collaborative style, as they dropped their first single, “4Eva.”

Featuring co-production by none other than Pharrell, the insanely-danceable track features addictive loops from the producer on the chorus and outro, as well as some creative verses from Aminé.

“Comment tu t’appelles? Je m’appelle Aminé (Shee) / I’m starin’ at your eyes but you starin’ at my lips (True) / You talkin’ ’bout your momma but you thinkin’ ’bout my d*ck (True) / I catch on these nuances and assists,” he raps.

As someone who was familiar with Aminé from his Good For You era and was introduced to Kaytranada at a festival last year, “4Eva” never seems to miss a single step — perfect for making even longtime fans all the more excited.

This is just the start for the duo, as they’ve also officially announced that an album, self-titled off their joint name, will be dropping in May.

The two have been gearing up for this for quite a while, working together on a handful of other projects. Back in 2014, Aminé dropped a remix, putting his own spin on Kaytranada’s “At All.” He also went on to produce several songs on Aminé’s 2015 mixtape.

The Jonas Brothers Rely On ‘Waffle House’ As A Meditative Space And Inspiration For Their New Song

Following February’s “Wings,” the Jonas Brothers have shared a second single from their upcoming album with “Waffle House.” The uplifting track is a celebration of not only the classic late-night chain staple, but also the memories and relaxation they get from the spot.

“No, don’t get stressed, it’s gon’ get figured out / Oh, deep conversations at thе Waffle House / Headstrong fathеr and a determined mother / Oh, that’s why some nights, we try to kill each other / But you know it’s always love,” Joe and Nick sing together in the chorus, with Kevin joining the mix later into the track. Despite the changes as siblings and a family, it’s clear their bond is still strong.

Earlier this year, the band had teased the title during an interview with Variety, as the boys named their favorite songs.

“It was a last-minute addition,” Nick shared. “At first, it was a bit of a head-scratcher, but the more I listened to it, the more I loved it. I think it really encapsulates a moment in time for us. Musically it taps into some of my favorites: Doobie Brothers and Bee Gees, and others from that era. It’s a really, really, fun song. We can’t wait to play it live.”

Because of this excitement, they played it live during their recent Broadway residency.

Joey Badass Is ‘Fallin” In Love On His Smooth New R&B-Influenced Single

It looks like a new era of Joey Badass will soon be upon us. Tonight, the New York-bred rapper has shared his new single, “Fallin.’”

On “Fallin’,” Joey displays some of his singing chops over a smooth R&B track, as he expresses that he’s ready to give up his player ways for a special woman.

“I’m fallin’ for you / And I don’t wanna catch myself / No, I don’t wanna catch myself / And I don’t wanna catch myself,” he sings on the song’s chorus.

He continues, singing, “Comin’ down, I feel I’m comin’ down / This feels like summer now / I need you to love me now / Won’t you love me now?”

The accompanying visual feels like watching a moving portrait, as Joey is seen repeatedly falling into bed, and rose petals fall upon him.

Earlier this week, Joey teased his new era in an interview with Complex.

“I’m sharing a, I feel like, a new side of my artistry that my listeners haven’t heard yet,” he said. “I’ve been teasing [‘Fallin’] for a minute, but I’m singing a lot on this one.”

He also revealed that he originally planned that the song would entirely consist of him singing, however, he added in a rap verse on the bridge.

Labrinth And Billie Eilish, Despite The Fact They’ve ‘Never Felt So Alone,’ Craft A Haunting Collab

Labrinth and Billie Eilish have been teasing their collaboration for quite a while — and the time has finally arrived. The new song, “Never Felt So Alone,” opens with a dark, electronic beat that captures the moodiness and just how perfectly their vocals blend.

Eilish’s is heard both showing off her airy, gentle side, as well as some backing vocals that are heightened through the production. By the time she appears for her solo verse, it shows a range and new growth to the pop star — and also speaks to the power of Labrinth being an excellent producer to collaborate with.

Last December, Eilish brought Labrinth out as a surprise guest during her concert in Los Angeles. The two performed Labrinth’s previous take, initially titled “I’ve Never Felt So Alone,” which appeared in HBO’s Euphoria. However, the solo version never saw an official release, leading fans to hope for a full-length version.

It also has added fuel to the possible theories that Eilish might pop up in Euphoria‘s third season, but she has denied it… For now. “Oh, that I’m in the third season of Euphoria? That’s not true,” she told Vanity Fair. “I’d like to be! Euphoria is f*ckin’ fire.”

Kali Uchis Shares ‘In The Lobby’ From The ‘Isolation’ Era To Celebrate The Album’s Fifth Anniversary

In honor of her album, Isolation, celebrating its fifth anniversary this week, Kali Uchis unearthed “In The Lobby,” a previously-unreleased track from the era.

“I paid the girl behind the desk so she tell me what she’s seen in the lobby / You been makin’ a fool of me but you’re too proud to even say you’re sorry,” Uchis sings in the opening lines, as she sets the vengeful tale toward someone who’s presumably cheating on her.

It relies on an almost-psychedelic instrumental as Uchis’ jazzy voice is backed by several singers. By the time the chorus hits, the peaceful sound of the song hides the tension that continues to rise as the lyrics progress.

“What goes around will come around / So sleep with one eye open, now (Ooh, ooh),” she continues to warn in the song. “‘Cause this ain’t what you want, papi / You should’ve known the tables turn (Ooh, ooh) / But soon enough you’re gonna learn (Ooh, ooh) / Yeah, this ain’t what you want, papi.”

Uchis has been already on a roll this year, dropping her album, Red Moon In Venus, and continuing to tease the fact that she’s also recorded a whole other LP that’s entirely in Spanish. Only time will tell when she decides to release the second one.

Keldon Johnson Missed A Game After He Got Sick Eating Gas Station BBQ

The Spurs won a tank battle on Thursday night against the Blazers, 129-127, as even their limited roster was able to take down Portland, which is currently the most aggressively tanking team in the entire league.

In the game, Keldon Johnson scored 24 points to help lead the Spurs to their second win in three games, as they build a little bit of positivity with their young group to close out the season with a bottom-three position secured. Johnson was back in the lineup after missing Tuesday’s loss to the Suns with an illness, but this was not some phony ailment meant to just keep him out. No, Johnson was dealing with one of the most relatable issues an NBA player can have: a stomach bug caused by an ill-fated choice for dinner.

For the uninitiated, Buc-ee’s is a gas station chain you can find across Texas and the south that is well-known for its BBQ — which is genuinely pretty good, particularly given where it’s coming from and the cost — as well as basically being a miniature Walmart. Picking up Buc-ee’s isn’t as sketchy as the phrase “gas station BBQ” might sound initially, but it does still come with risks of upsetting one’s stomach and that put Johnson on the shelf for a night.

Still, have no fear, Keldon will not be deterred from defying the rules of the Spurs’ strength coaches and nutritionists, and will be back for more Buc-ee’s in the near future, declaring “I’m gonna go back” with an incredible defiance against the wishes of both the Spurs staff and his stomach’s general well-being.

Karol G Called Out ‘GQ Mexico’ For Over-Editing Her Photos: ‘My Body Doesn’t Look Like That’

Fans aren’t liking Karol G‘s latest photoshoot. In the latest issue of GQ Mexico, Karol is the cover star. However, fans immediately noticed that the photos were heavily edited. Today (April 6), Karol took to Instagram to express her disdain over the cover.

“Today my GQ magazine cover was made public, a cover with an image that does not represent me,” she said in the post’s caption. “My face doesn’t look like that, my body doesn’t look like that and I feel very happy and comfortable with how I look naturally.”

Karol continued, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to be featured on the magazine’s cover, but still was not pleased with the edits made. She also said she was granted permission to make notes about the edits, however, it appears the magazine did not take her suggestions into consideration.

“It’s disrespectful to me,” she said. “It’s disrespectful to the women that every day we wake up looking to feel comfortable with ourselves despite society’s stereotypes.”

In the actual GQ Mexico interview, which took place shortly before the release of her album, Mañana Será Bonito, she revealed that she was feeling anxious in the days leading up.

“[I’m] exposing a very personal part of myself to the public,” she said. “I express a lot of pain in my songs,” she adds. “People have told me that they’ve been able to get through heartbreaks with my songs.”

Mom shares video of her toddler coming to the rescue when she locks herself out of the house

Would you be considered human if you haven’t locked yourself out of your house at least once? One mom on TikTok found herself in quite the predicament with only her toddler to “mission impossible” his way to unlocking the house door to let his mom, @gesikaaaaaa, inside. The video starts with the camera pointed at a rosy-cheeked toddler on a snow-covered porch.

The boy looks to be no older than 2 or 3 but he’s an expert at following directions … sort of. It’s all still pretty new to him and, as anyone who’s ever interacted with a toddler knows, multistep directions are not the way to go. They tend to hear one thing only and even then are apt to be distracted by a stray piece of lint and not be able to finish the task.

Everything is new to a toddler and it doesn’t take much to distract them. And just about anything can be a toy. So when this mom helped her son through an open window in an effort to guide him through the process of unlocking the door, classic toddler cuteness ensued.

The desperate mom explains in the video that she left one window unlocked and you can see immediately that there’s no way an adult could fit through the small space without injury. So instead she uses her toddler to do it and once he’s inside the house his instructions are to get a chair … he finds a bowl. His mom tells him, “Focus. Focus. Grab the chair and take it to the door.”

What do you know? That sweet boy did just as he was told. Until he found a rock. Mom quickly refocuses the boy and the chair is back on the move, then he finds the fireplace tongs and takes a break to play with the fireside tools stand. Eventually the little guy succeeds in his mission but the journey there was the cutest maze of side quests you’ll ever see.

Watch him rescue his mom below:

Future Canceled The Final Two Shows Of His ‘One Big Party Tour’ In Kansas City And Minneapolis

While Future has been making waves with his One Big Party Tour, which he has brought around the US this year, some fans in certain cities might not be able to catch certain remaining shows. The rapper announced that he has canceled his Kansas City and Minneapolis shows, just ahead of playing Indiana’s Gainbridge Fieldhouse tonight (April 6) — now, the final show of the tour.

“It breaks my heart that I will no longer be connecting with my fans in Kansas City and Minneapolis,” Future shared in a statement to Billboard. “I look forward to reconnecting with each of you at another time. Thank you for all your love and support through the years. Love Future.”

He did not provide a specific reason that prompted the two canceled dates to them. Future had originally brought Don Toliver, G Herbo, Mariah The Scientist, and Dess Dio along for the One Big Party Tour as his opening acts. He had also told the publication earlier this year how excited he was for the tour.

“The One Big Party Tour has been life-changing,” Future added in a separate Billboard piece. “It helps me connect with my fans in ways that are unimaginable. The success and energy from the shows brought such excitement that I want to continue this tour for my fans in more cities. I want to create an experience that forever stays in their memories.”
