Guapdad 4000’s Latest ‘Rona Raps’ Episode Features Denzel Curry And Wiz Khalifa

As a way to combat his possible boredom during coronavirus quarantine, Guapdad 4000 developed a new way to collaborate with his fellow rap friends: He launched his Rona Raps series. With help from fans, Guapdad 4000 would pick a beat, send it to his friends while he and one collaborator would rap over the beat on video. The video is then sent back to Guapdad, who would then merge the videos into one. Having kicked off the series with Buddy a couple of weeks ago, Guapdad returns with not one but two fellow rappers for his latest episode.

Episode three finds Guapdad 4000 taking on Luniz’s “I Got 5 On It” alongside Denzel Curry and Wiz Khalifa. Sporting a Pikachu beanie, Guapdad leads the way, as usual, with a verse of his own, before lending the mic to Denzel, who delivered a clear message about social distancing and, quite frankly, staying away from him. Things close out with Wiz Khalifa sharing his own verse, one that featured a reference to the wild faces Sean Garrett made during his songwriter battle with The-Dream, several weed references, plus a quick tribute to Nipsey Hussle.

In addition to the collaborative rap series, each Rona Raps episode, dropped every Friday, is followed by the release of a new song from Guapdad, with the latest release being “Dolce Gabbana Dali Lama.”

Rich The Kid Recruits Future To Join Him On The Lil Baby-Featured Track, ‘Stuck Together’

Rich The Kid delivered his third album, Boss Man, early last month — his first official project under the Republic Records helm. Originally 19 tracks in length, Rich The Kid has followed the recent trend of updating an album after its release, whether it be for a small tweak or to add a new song. His latest update adds one song, bringing the total up to 20 tracks.

Extending the song by only 45 seconds, Rich The Kid updates the track “Stuck Together” with some help from Future. Arriving just a month after the album, the song is another in a productive period of music that also included his contribution to Kyle’s “YES!” and a new video for “Red.”

On the record, Future doesn’t rap about anything beyond buying jewelry for the women in his life while reestablishing his position his the rap game. He even alludes to his viral video alongside Young Thug, raping, “If she mine then she rockin’ Philippe/That ain’t me she belong to the street.”

In addition to the updated version of “Stuck Together,” Rich The Kid also rearranged the order of songs to give a new feel to the album.

You can hear “Stuck Together” in the video above.

Boss Man is out now via Republic. Get it here.

The British Open Will Reportedly Be Canceled Due To The Coronavirus Pandemic

While sports leagues in the United States remain hesitant to outright cancel much of anything due to the COVID-19 pandemic, overseas we’ve already seen one major domino fall in the cancellation of this summer’s Wimbledon. It’s the first time the tennis tournament has been canceled since World War II and indicates just how seriously they are taking this and how long they expect the effects of the virus to be felt.

The next major sporting event to be held in the UK after Wimbledon would be The Open Championship at Royal St. George’s in Kent, England, but now it appears that too will be canceled, per a report from Golf Digest.

The R&A is expected to cancel the 2020 Open Championship, multiple sources tell Golf Digest. The sources spoke on the condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to speak about the cancellation publicly.

The decision, which could be announced as early as Thursday, comes after the All England Club canceled the Wimbledon tennis tournament (scheduled for June 29) on Wednesday. Sources told Golf Digest last week the R&A was awaiting the decision on Wimbledon before proceeding.

The tournament was scheduled to take place from July 16-19, and, unlike the other golf majors stateside that have “postponed” without outright canceling, it will not be rescheduled. It will be interesting to see if this has any effect on whether the other three majors also make an official decision on not playing them at all or if they keep hope alive of being played at a later date.

Snoop Dogg Questioned Ari Lennox’s Choice To Wear A Wig And Fans Are Not Having It

The nationwide quarantine has led to an increased amount of both indoor activity and social media entertainment.Ari Lennox has been keeping her fans entertained through her comical Instagram Live sessions, and she went live again Wednesday to showcase her struggles securing her new wig. Clearly dissatisfied by the way it looked on her, Ari requested help from her viewers, repeatedly asking, “So I guess I gotta cut more lace?” before jokingly getting frustrated by their responses.

The Shaderoom reposted the video of Ari’s wig struggle to their Instagram page, which led to ommenting on the video, Snoop Dogg said, “Grow your own hair what happened to those.” Fans were not happy with his response, as many took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

Whether or not Ari took offense to Snoop’s comments remains to be seen. However, she did exhibit a great sense of humor about them in a post to Instagram. She shared a picture of what ironically appears to be a fairer-skinned Snoop Dogg in a wig, with a caption that read, “Uncle I just…I just thought we had an understanding…”

Snoop’s comments come just a month after he was widely criticized for his response to Gayle King’s Kobe Question, which led to Ari Lennox defending him. He later made an appearance on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk to apologize for his comments, but it looks like he’ll be heading there once more.
